Making your blog popular

  1. When you write your blog, make sure you put in your blog what people are actually interested in reading. Be entertaining, funny or things that people might want to read about. You want to catch the interest of the reader and want them to come back and refer their friends to come to your blog too. Put pictures or a video of something interesting. Make sure that you change the information on your blog regularly as people won't keep returning to see the same thing over and over again. Ask others to post on your site as well; friends and even people you don't know. Maybe even other bloggers.

  2. Step 2

    Submit your blog to DIRECTORIES...
If you don't people wont know that you have set up a blog, just by setting it up doesn't mean that people will come to you. You need to get into the directories so people know you have a blog

  3. Step 3

    A list of directories:
    Daypop
    dmoz
    Moreover
    Syndic8
    Blogdex
    Bloglines
    Blogstreet
    Feedster
    blogwise
    Blogcritics.org
    TOPIX.NET
    Genecast

If you have Adsense and placed an x on place into the directory you should already be in google's directory.

Also, take a look at other directories by typing "blog directories" as a key word. It should give you more than I have mentioned. The above is just to name a small few. When you go onto the above site type in as a search... blog directory...

  4. Step 4

When your on on the rampage send out emails to everyone- place your blog ask them to take a look, if they like what they see ask them to pass it on. Write stuff on other peoples blogs, post on there site and request that they post on yours. Try to get others that are networking the same way to help you if you help them.

  5. Step 5

Look around at other blogs and see if anything in particular bring people to other sites... words? photos? videos? funny pictures? funny content? If you see a blog with a lot of traffic- write on it.

  6. Step 6

Write articles and make sure your blog address is in the article. The more times people see your link the better your chances are of people coming to your site. If they have seen it 5 times they are going to wonder what they are missing.

How to Make Money With Google Adsense Without Having People Read Your Blog

Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing to understand about making money with Google Adsense, is the people that click on ads do it because you really don't answer the question they're seeking.

when you don't, many will click on an ad. This means you do not want to target readers, you want to target visitors looking for a specific answer to a specific question.

  2. Step 2

So the trick is to write about a subject in a way that talks about it without answering the question. That's a little secret those making consistent earnings with Google Adense have practiced for years.

  3. Step 3

If it's about ego or finding friends online for you, it's probably better that you don't pursue Adsense, as you'll get very few people clicking on the ads to make you money.

  4. Step 4

So am I saying we shouldn't write in a way that people want to stop by and read all over the blog or website? That's exactly what I'm saying.

I've had dozens of blogs or websites over the years, and I can say from experience, that those people who stopped by and hung around a blog, are the blogs that made very little money with Adsense.

  5. Step 5

Here's the secret: Write for Adsense and the search engines, not for people.

That means you talk about a subject without giving out the actual answers or solutions to a question, while also including targeted keywords in your content which draws the right ads so people will go there to search for the actual answers.

How to Make Money (without) Google Adsense

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sell links on your blog. This is easy to set up and manage. All you have to do is decide how much and how often each Text link ad will stay up. For example: If your site is small you might charge $3-$5 a week for a link to stay up for a minimum of one month. This will make you $12-$20 for that link a month. This shows that you can make money (without) Google Adsense. If your site is well established and has a nice amount of traffic you can charge $25 for a link at a minimum of 4 weeks.

  2. Step 2

Offer Banner ads on your blog. Everyone has seen these flashy picture button things. You can get paid to have a few on your site. Decide if you want to offer one large banner at the top or bottom of your page. You can also do smaller banner ads on the side bar and charge $25 each for a minimum of 4 weeks. If you have plenty of traffic on your site you can charge more.

  3. Step 3

Write reviews and make money. Everyone wants a good review and this is a way to make money. You basically write about their product or site and tell what you like and dislike. This is just another avenue to point traffic to the advertiser's site and they will pay for it. If you have a smaller site with less traffic charge $10-$15 a review. If your site is large and in charge than you can ask $50-$75 a review. Now is that making money (without) Google Adsense or what?

  4. Step 4

Combine all three. By offering all three (Text link ads, banner ads, and reviews) you can potentially make an extra $200 and that is on the low end. Put on your creative cap and think of other ways you can use your blog to make money (without) Google Adsense.
