When you write your blog, make sure you put in your blog what people are actually interested in reading. Be entertaining, funny or things that people might want to read about. You want to catch the interest of the reader and want them to come back and refer their friends to come to your blog too. Put pictures
or a video of something interesting. Make sure that you change the information on your blog regularly as people won't keep returning to see the same thing over and over again. Ask others to post on your site as well; friends and even people you don't know. Maybe even other bloggers.
- Step 2
Submit your blog to DIRECTORIES...
If you don't people wont know that you have set up a blog, just by setting it up doesn't mean that people will come to you. You need to get into the directories so people know you have a blog - Step 3
A list of directories:
Daypop
dmoz
Moreover
Syndic8
Blogdex
Bloglines
Blogstreet
Feedster
blogwise
Blogcritics.org
TOPIX.NET
Genecast
If you have Adsense and placed an x on place into the directory you should already be in google's directory.
Also, take a look at other directories by typing "blog directories" as a key word. It should give you more than I have mentioned. The above is just to name a small few. When you go onto the above site type in as a search... blog directory... - Step 4
When your on on the rampage send out emails to everyone- place your blog ask them to take a look, if they like what they see ask them to pass it on. Write stuff on other peoples blogs, post on there site and request that they post on yours. Try to get others that are networking the same way to help you if you help them.
- Step 5
Look around at other blogs and see if anything in particular bring people to other sites... words? photos? videos? funny pictures? funny content? If you see a blog with a lot of traffic- write on it.
- Step 6
Write articles and make sure your blog address is in the article. The more times people see your link the better your chances are of people coming to your site. If they have seen it 5 times they are going to wonder what they are missing.

Making your blog popular
How to Make Money With Google Adsense Without Having People Read Your Blog
- Step 1
The first thing to understand about making money with Google Adsense, is the people that click on ads do it because you really don't answer the question they're seeking.
when you don't, many will click on an ad. This means you do not want to target readers, you want to target visitors looking for a specific answer to a specific question. - Step 2
So the trick is to write about a subject in a way that talks about it without answering the question. That's a little secret those making consistent earnings with Google Adense have practiced for years.
- Step 3
If it's about ego or finding friends online for you, it's probably better that you don't pursue Adsense, as you'll get very few people clicking on the ads to make you money.
- Step 4
So am I saying we shouldn't write in a way that people want to stop by and read all over the blog or website? That's exactly what I'm saying.
I've had dozens of blogs or websites over the years, and I can say from experience, that those people who stopped by and hung around a blog, are the blogs that made very little money with Adsense. - Step 5
Here's the secret: Write for Adsense and the search
engines , not for people.
That means you talk about a subject without giving out the actual answers or solutions to a question, while also including targeted keywords in your content which draws the right ads so people will go there to search for the actual answers.
How to Make Money (without) Google Adsense
- Step 1
Sell links on your blog. This is easy to set up and manage. All you have to do is decide how much and how often each Text link ad will stay up. For example: If your site is small you might charge $3-$5 a week for a link to stay up for a minimum of one month. This will make you $12-$20 for that link a month. This shows that you can make money (without) Google Adsense. If your site is well established and has a nice amount of traffic you can charge $25 for a link at a minimum of 4 weeks.
- Step 2
Offer Banner ads on your blog. Everyone has seen these flashy picture button things. You can get paid to have a few on your site. Decide if you want to offer one large banner at the top or bottom of your page. You can also do smaller banner ads on the side bar and charge $25 each for a minimum of 4 weeks. If you have plenty of traffic on your site you can charge more.
- Step 3
Write reviews and make money. Everyone wants a good review and this is a way to make money. You basically write about their product or site and tell what you like and dislike. This is just another avenue to point traffic to the advertiser's site and they will pay for it. If you have a smaller site with less traffic charge $10-$15 a review. If your site is large and in charge than you can ask $50-$75 a review. Now is that making money (without) Google Adsense or what?
- Step 4
Combine all three. By offering all three (Text link ads, banner ads, and reviews) you can potentially make an extra $200 and that is on the low end. Put on your creative cap and think of other ways you can use your blog to make money (without) Google Adsense.

6 Adsense Secrets to Make $500 a Day in Google Cash
- Adsense Earnings Strategy
Before embarking on your Adsense journey, give some thought as to your goals & how you want to achieve them.
To illustrate the above, an Adsense publisher wanting to earn $100 a day in "Google cash" could set up 100 websites to earn $1 a day from each one or alternatively he could try & make $100 a day in Adsense revenue from just 1 website.
Neither of the above scenarios are ideal & you should aim to have more than 1 site so that you don't have all your eggs in one basket & are subjected to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm’s, market trends, etc).
However, having too many sites leaves you with major maintenance, management and content issues so aim for somewhere in between. - Topic - General or Niche
You will need to decide on the topic of your website or blog - niche websites work better with adsense than general topics mainly because the ads that Google serves up are appropriately targeted to your topic & your site's traffic will also be targeted & more likely to click on your ads & generate Adsense money for you.
Furthermore deciding on a certain niche for your site, in which you are an authority, will allow you to create content that adds to your expert status on the subject.
It's also very important to ensure that your niche is one for which there is a certain amount of interest, eg. photography & not something for which there will be no advertisers & therefore no opportunity to make any money from Adsense.
Remember that generally speaking the more popular the niche the higher paying the keywords will be & the more the savvy Adsense publisher will earn per click. - Adsense Ad Placement
While certain locations tend to be more successful than others, Google's "heat map" below illustrates the ideal placing on a sample page layout.
The best performing ad placements are in dark orange fading to light yellow representing the weakest performing areas.
Generally ads located above the fold tend to perform better than those below the fold and ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page. - Best Performing Adsense Ads
The following is a list that is generally accepted as of the highest performing ad sizes...
- 336×280 large rectangle
- 300×250 inline rectangle
- 160×600 wide skyscraper
Whilst the above size ads may not always be suitable for your website or blog it is worth noting that these are the ones that out perform other Adsense ad sizes. - Another Tip to Improve Your Ads' CTR
Another Adsense trick that usually increases a site's CTR (Click Through Rate) is by blending your adsense ads into your site's content - you need to ensure that the Adsense ad does not actually look like an ad - allowing ads to look like ads will seriously dent your chances of making decent Adsense money.
The Google Adsense program provides a color pallette which allows you to change border colors & shapes as well as backgrounds, text & url colors.
You can therefore blend the ad in terms of its shape, size & color to blend in with the colors of your site's text & background.
A worthwhile tip is to change all of your page hyperlinks to a high contrast color, like a bold blue for example, and then change the adsense title to the same color.
Be sure to keep abreast with Google's Adsense policies as one of Google's latest policies state that Adsense publishers should not "format site content so that it is difficult to distinguish it from ads", which puts the blending issue into question.
So if you are unsure of anything just visit Google AdSense Program Policies »

It's a good idea to use include files for all your Adsense ad code.
The benefit of this is that if you need to change an ad for whatever reason, all you need to do is update the code in the include/php file & then upload it to your server - the ad will then be updated site wide, ie. wherever it exists on your site - this is far easier than changing each ad on each page of your website.
One of the biggest mistakes Adsense publishers make is not knowing the best strategies to employ to explode your Adsense earnings no matter what traffic your site is getting...
